My late Dad’s Birthday!

Special event of the day.’

Today, 15th May is my late father’s 98th birthday ( Capt Ajit Singh Aulakh ). He lived a very meaningful life, brought us up by working very hard and imparted us character qualities, discipline and the good values of life. He participated greatly in welfare work of the society. After retirement from the Army he was our village’s Sarpanch ( Headman) for a long time. He was instrumental in renovating a historical Gurdwara, Sadhu Sikh ( at Chawinda Kalan Amritsar ) by sheer dedication. A sincere, honest and man of character he kept himself busy and useful till the age of 84 and thus completed his journey purposefully on this planet earth. Due to his blessings we ( his sons, daughters, grandsons and granddaughters) are doing very well and have spread in various parts of the globe starting from USA, Canada, Europe, India and Australia. With deep respect , I remember him on this day. May he continues blessing us from above and guide us all to have the determination to follow his footsteps to make this society and world a better place.
