Assessing Myself!

Do I have it in me?

Challenges arise, struggles unfurl,

Through diligence, tact and sincerity,

In a complex, demanding world.

Can I resolve, can I rise?

Once again, I’m put to the test,

Can I show my very best,

Amidst confusion and lies?

Not as young, not as spry,

How do I open a door stuck tight?

I ask myself, with a weary sigh,

Can I find the guiding light?

Confidence, my steadfast seed,

On top of it, a prayer for Godspeed.

God helps those who help themselves,

And come out in the flying colours in the test.
