Oh, the WhatsApp Goons, the mighty brigade,
With messages so bold, they never fade.
Tall in their stance, their views never fall,
In their echo chamber, they’re the kings of the hall.
“Agree with us!” they declare with might,
Or everything you say will be deemed as trite.
“My way or the highway,” they loudly proclaim,
Turning every group chat into their domain.
They terrorize the decent with a virtual roar,
Always so current, with news to explore.
Dare to dissent? Prepare for the showdown,
Their verbal guns ready to take you down.
Oh God, grant them wisdom, and let them see,
That other views are equally key.
Accommodation and decency should be the rule,
Realize, dear goons, that you’re not always cool.
So here’s a plea to the WhatsApp crew,
To respect other voices, old and new.
For in a world where opinions should freely flow,
It’s nice to remember we all need to grow.
Guchi.
