On a Sunday, it’s refreshing to embrace a change in routine that offers a sense of holiday while keeping oneself engaged. Start the day with a leisurely breakfast or brunch, perhaps trying out a new recipe or visiting a cozy café. Engage in activities that promote relaxation and rejuvenation, such as going for a nature walk, practicing yoga, playing Golf, or indulging in a favorite hobby like reading, writing, painting or photography. Consider exploring local markets or attending cultural events to add a touch of adventure to the day. Alternatively, plan a mini home spa session with facemasks, bath bombs, and soothing music. Whether it’s spending quality time with loved ones, pursuing personal interests, or simply unwinding, Sundays are the perfect opportunity to recharge and embrace the joy of leisure amidst the busyness of life.
For retired persons and veterans like me, there is hardly any difference between a week day or week ends. Most of the time is spent on self maintenance activities. However on Sundays since most of the maintenance facilities like hospitals, banks etc are closed, one can think of visiting multiplexes to watch movies and shopping. For senior persons like us visit to religious places is also a good option. On a Sunday evening one can visit friends or call them over and have a musical session viewing on TV or indulge in Karaoke session over a few drinks.
