The Rent Collector.

On different dates of the Month, Rent collector calls his tenants for rent,

Some pay easily, without reminding, others ignore,

Those not reacting have to be reminded time and again.

Some pay after reminding, others are stubborn.

Some give excuses and promises to pay,

Some gain time.

Some have to be threatened with eviction,

To some you appeal to their soul to do their duty.

And rent is finally collected.

The World is an inn where all of us pay rent to our Master,

As per our Karmic deeds.

Some pay with Smile, others defy.

To ultimately pay in another world,

And in another life.

वसुलीदार:

महीने के विभिन्न तिथियों पर, वसुलीदार अपने किरायेदारों को किराया देने के लिए बुलाते हैं,

कुछ आसानी से भुगतते हैं, बिना याद दिलाए, दूसरे इनकार करते हैं,

जो अवक्रमण करते हैं, उन्हें बार–बार याद दिलाना पड़ता है।

कुछ याद दिलाने के बाद भुगतते हैं, कुछ जिद्दी होते हैं।

कुछ बहाने देते हैं और किराया देने का वादा करते हैं, कुछ समय प्राप्त करते हैं।

कुछ को निकालने के लिए धमकाया जाता है।

आख़िर में किराया मिल ही जाता है।

दुनिया एक अस्थायी धर्मशाला है और हर एक व्यक्ति मालिक को अपने कर्मों के हिसाब से किराया दे रहा है।

कुछ लोग भुगतते हैं और संतुष्टि देते हैं, कुछ आपत्ति करते हैं और इसे एक और जीवन और एक आवास में आगे बढ़ा देते हैं, लेकिन किराया तो चुकाना ही पड़ेगा।
