This is the image of a particular type of a palm tree called a Ponytail palm (Beaucarnea recurvata). It is a popular ornamental palm tree that is native to Mexico and Central America. It is known for its thick, bulbous trunk and its long, cascading leaves. Ponytail palms are easy to care for and can tolerate a wide range of conditions. They are a good choice for gardens in Florida, where they can grow to be 20-30 feet tall.
This palm tree was photographed by me during my morning walk at a residential neighbourhood in Parrish, Florida (USA).
