I am the master of my fate,

With power to decide my state,

I create my joy and success,

And steer away from distress.

But at times, I am my own foe,

With negative thoughts that grow,

Anger, envy, and despair,

Are traits I must beware.

My angel and devil both reside,

In my heart, side by side,

I must quell the devil’s voice,

And let my angel make the choice.

So let me spread happiness and light,

And banish darkness from my sight,

With positivity and goodwill,

My destiny, I shall fulfill.
