  1. People say “Bless you” when you sneeze because it is believed that your heart stops for a mili second.
  2. Speed of the sneeze could be more than 100 miles per hour, much faster than many cars.
  3. The spray caused by sneeze can land as far as 100 ft away.
  4. If you sneeze too hard, your ribs can be fractured. There have been cases of muscle injuries, slip discs and even deaths due to bout of sneezing.
  5. You cannot keep your eyes open while sneezing. In case you force your eyes to remain open your eyeballs can come out of their sockets.
  6. Do not try to suppress a sneeze, it may rupture a blood vessel in your neck or head and cause death.
  7. It is quite normal to sneeze in two or threes.
  8. Most of the animals also sneeze.
  9. We do not sneeze while sleeping.
  10. As per Indian superstitions, a sneeze is not a good omen and intended work should be stopped for a while.
  11. There are many popular jokes based on sneezing.
